HoR passes condolence motion on demise of Rana, Mahato

A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today endorsed a condolence motion on the demise of former member in the National Assembly, Rukma Shumsher Rana, and a member in the then Constituent Assembly (CA) Man Bahadur Mahato.The condolence proposal presented by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota before the session was endorsed unanimously.

Rana was nominated to the NA in 2048 BS. He was also the former Ambassador of Nepal to India. He also served in the capacity of the member secretary of the National Sports Council. Rana died on September 11. He was 86.Likewise, Mahato passed away on September 12 at the age of 72.The HoR shall meet again at 11:00 am on September 20.
