India COVID-19 tally rises to 31,216,337

(Xinhua) — India’s COVID-19 tally rose to 31,216,337 on Wednesday as 42,015 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, showed the federal health ministry’s latest data.
Besides, as many as 3,998 deaths due to the pandemic since Tuesday morning took the total death toll to 418,480.
There are still 407,170 active COVID-19 cases in the country with a rise of 1,050 cases during the past 24 hours.
A total of 30,390,687 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals so far, out of which 36,977 were discharged during the past 24 hours. Endit
