State-5 government ready to move ahead collaborating with private sector

Chief Minister of State-5, Shankar Pokhrel, has said that the state government was ready to move ahead collaborating with private sector for infrastructure development.Chief Minister Pokhrel said that the state government has made a clear policy to create appropriate environment for private sector to investment in infrastructure sector.

At an state-level interaction organised by Confederation of Nepalese Industries at Butwal for the for the preparation of National Infrastructure Conference on Friday, he said that private sector’s wish to invest in infrastructure sector was very positive at a time when the state government has the policy to attract private sector for investment by developing infrastructures.

The Chief Minister said, “Initiating discussion thinking private sector as the important partner of infrastructure development is positive.”He further said that investment in infrastructure sector was not possible until private sector is linked with banking sector.

Saying the under construction Gautam Buddha International Airport would come into operation as the safest aviation sector, CM Pokhrel called to invest in development of tourism infrastructure as there would be notable increase in number of tourists after the operation of Gautam Buddha International Airport.
