Analysis of Indian General Election

OSNEPALNEWS, Kathmandu, 16th April: All eyes are n the election happening in India right now. The 2019 Indian general election is being held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and on the same day the results will be declared. India’s general election is the biggest democratic exercise in the world.

Four years ago, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power with a thumping victory in the Lok Sabha elections. The “Modi wave” was unstoppable, reaching all the way from Gujarat to Parliament Road, New Delhi. But the fame of Modi is also decreasing. Is Rahul Gandhi now a serious threat to Modi’s charm?
