Govt to control corruption: Spokesperson Baskota

Taulihawa, Kapilvastu- Government’s spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota on Sunday said the government had moved ahead with a drive to control corruption by taking action against those involved in such illegal activity.

More than 500 corrupt people have been booked lately, he claimed at a programme organised here by the Kapilvastu chapter of the Federation of Nepali Journalists to exchange greetings on the occasion of New Year, 2076. He also pledged to bring those behind wide-body aircraft scam, the murder of Nirmala Panta and 33 kilograms gold scam.
