Airport employees needs change in conduct: PM Oli

Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the employees at airport need to improve their conduct to ensure positive impression of tourists toward Nepal. PM Oli pointed out such need during a meeting with Nepal Visit Year 2020 main organizing committee in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

Nitpicking and behaving against law with foreign tourists by the airport employees is quite discouraging, he said, stressing, “First of all the officers at airport must be given training and urged to give up arrogance. Tourists must not be behaved in a way it damaged country’s image. Airport is the place from where a positive message about the country can be spread.”

The PM also urged all sectors to make full preparation of the Visit Nepal year. For it, as he suggested, traffic management, clear and clean road, tourist-friendly behaviour at hotel and tourist destination are some important works in 2019. “Involve all sides to make the Visit Year successful,” the PM reminded.
