ECAN’s financial support to Bara, Parsa storm survivors

Kathmandu- Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) has assisted over Rs 500 thousand for the survivors of the March 31 strong storm that struck Bara and adjoining Parsa districts. The ECAN collected the fund from its several members and handed it today to State 2 chief minister Lal Babu Raut, according to association acting chair Mahesh Babu Timalsina, who stressed that all should lend helping hands in the support of others during the hours of crisis.

On the occasion, the chief minister said the collection of assistance from several quarters was encouraging, calling upon all to contribute to the fund that the state government earlier set up for the support of those affected by the unexpected disaster.
