RPP launches signature campaign in favour of Hindu state

Kathmandu- Rastriya Prajatantra Party has begun its signature campaign on Sunday in a bid to collect votes to reinstate a Hindu state. The campaign will extend to all local, regional and town levels, said the RPP, adding that various centers have been set up in the district headquarters of all districts across the country to collect signatures in support of a Hindu state, and the collected signatures would be submitted to the government in next one month.

The campaign that will run until April 6 is led by RPP chairperson Kamal Thapa in Makawanpur district, said RPP’s spokesperson Bhuvan Pathak. Likewise, party senior vice chairperson Buddhiman Tamang will lead the campaign in Kathmandu and general secretaries Rajendra Lingden and Dhawal Shamsher Rana in Jhapa and Banke respectively.
