OSNEPALNEWS, Kathmandu, 21st March: Panipuri is a common street snack in Nepal. It consists of a round, hollow puri, fried crisp and filled with a mixture of flavored water, tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion or chickpeas. Chatpate is a version of chaat, made with puffed rice, dried instant noodles, chickpeas, fresh coriander (cilantro), tomato.
There are a lot of persons earning in thousands selling such snacks. One of the examples is Jagat Shah who earns around 1 lakh 20 thousand per month.
