Indian Diamond Merchant Modi Arrested in London

OSNEPALNEWS, Kathmandu, 21st March: Indian billionaire Nirav Modi, the main accused in the $2-billion Punjab National Bank fraud case is arrested in London. Diamond businessman Modi, accused in the ₹13,000 crore Punjab National Bank fraud case, was denied bail despite offering the court assurances including £500,000 as security. Modi, has been living in a plush apartment in Centre Point in the West End.

Nirav Modi and his uncle, Mehul Choksi, are the main accused in the PNB scam and they both left India before the details of the fraud came to light in January 2018.
