OSNEPALNEWS, Kathmandu, 18th March: The tension between the Government and Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ is intensifying. Nepal Police and the cadres of the Chand-led Nepal Communist Party in Kavre District clashes with each other today evening. Police personnels deployed from Metropolitan Police Crime Range, Teku opened fire on the NCP’s cadres in retaliation at Roshi Rural Municipality in the district. Two cadres have been arrested.
The government had decided to put a ban on all the activities carried out by Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ on 12th March. Biplav party called the nationwide bandh on 14th March which partially affected the nation.
