Speaker Mahara for timely completion of projects

Pokhara, Feb 22 : Speaker of the House of Representatives Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Thursday emphasized quality construction work and timely completion of development projects. Contractors should complete their assigned projects within the stipulated time, he said while expressing the hope that the construction of Pokhara Regional International Airport would be complete on time.

Speaker Mahara made a visit to observe the ongoing construction work of the Airport.
Likewise, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari, who accompanied Speaker Mahara to the inspection site, shared that approximately 28 percent of the construction was completed so far since the new government was formed when only two percent had been finished.

He expected completion of the airport by 2020, and that flights would operate by February, 2021.
Minister Adhikari also expressed his hope that operation of the airport would promote tourism of Pokhara. The project chief Dinesh Munakarmi shared that construction of the runway would be completed within next two months. (RSS)
