315 people undergo cataract surgery

Nuwakot, Feb 16 : Three hundred and fifteen people with cataract have been benefitted at a free eye camp held at Chandeshwari Secondary School, Bidur Municipality-7, Nuwakot district.
This many cataract patients were provided with free surgery at the three-day health camp organised by Nuwakot Community Eye Centre and Tilaganga Institute of Ophthalmology.

The sight of seven persons was restored through surgery. The free eye camp was organised for the benefit of the cataract patients living in rural areas of the district. A 20-member team of eye specialists from the Institute under the leadership of Dr Rachana Singh provided the free surgical services at the eye camp. (RSS)
