Deputy Speaker Dr Tumbahamphe made aware of journalists’ problems

Urlabari, Morang, Feb 10 : Deputy Speaker Dr Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe discussed the problems facing mofussil journalists. The problems she was made aware were the lack of both the advertisements and capable human resources to run the media houses effectively in the districts outside the central capital.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Speaker Tumbahamphe said the Bill related to communications which is under consideration in the Parliamentary Committee should be for the welfare of working journalists.

She viewed that media houses should be financially strong so that they can ensure minimum wage for the working journalists. On the occasion, the journalists attending the event suggested that the government implemented the proportional advertisement system.
